An exciting selection of new work from University of Brighton MA and BA degree shows, highlighting new talent working in screen-based and digital media art. The event will feature new work from: Juliette Buss, Betsy Dadd, Clara Garcia Fraile and *Chantelle Shekyls.

Each artist has a different approach to making work for screen, one artist very much exploring the material properties of video, whilst another playfully invites interaction with viewers of the work.

Though these pieces are distinctive, there are relative qualities which bring these works together, the use of sound (or lack of it) to create atmosphere, the exploration of textural/sensorial qualities within the subject matter, and the significance of human presence or involvement in completing the work.

After the screening, there will be an opportunity to speak with the artists about their work, and to hear their thoughts and concepts in creating these final pieces.
